VITRA STILL HUNGRY FOR AWARDS

Getting awards every year from the most prestigious award competitions such as Good Design, VitrA again won new awards in 2021. Alongside getting four awards from Good Design, VitrA's Liquid Collection which's developed together with Tom Dixon, the London Design Medalist, won the world famous Wallpaper magazine's design award.

4 NEW GOOD DESIGN AWARDS AGAIN

Winning awards every year from Good Design which's among the oldest and most prestigious design competitions of the world being organized since 1950, VitrA crowned 2021 again with awards. Regarded as the symbol of perfection in design and presented the 71st time, there are 4 new awards given to VitrA from Good Design. On this wise, the number of Good Design awards VitrA has won to this day, has become 44.

Within the context of Good Design Awards organized with the collaboration of The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, VitrA's ArchiPlan bathroom series and Atelier 01 tile series are granted the awards. In the competition where a record number of applications are evaluated from 55 countries, VitrA V-Care Smart Panel and V-Care Smart Toilet Prime model by Arik Levy are also deemed worthy an award. Designed by VitrA Design Team, the Atelier 01, Red Dot: has also won the Product Design 2021 award.


WALLPAER DESIGN AWARD HAS COME

The first award to the collection developed by the design icon Tom Dixon with VitrA collaboration, has come from the famous Wallpaper magazine. Collaborating with famous designers starting from 2000s to develop bathroom experiences suitable for the needs and tastes of the users from all over the world, VitrA, together with the British designer Tom Dixon, put its' signature to the Liquid collection that stands out with its' fluid forms. Rewarded with the Order of the British Empire by the Queen of England in 2000 for his services to design community, Dixon has designed products for bathroom for the first time. There are also bathroom furnitures, accessories, floor and wall tiles along with ceramic sanitary ware in the Liquid collection which made its' European launch in London and will be introduced soon also in Turkey.


VitrA takes human health, hygiene, ergonomics, safety, high performance and quality with a holistic approach in bathroom design alongside with aesthetics. Collaborating with world famous designers and design offices to create a unique bathroom experience, VitrA has brought its' design, innovation and production perfections together with the expertise of designers like Arik Levy, Claudio Bellini, Terri Pecora, Sebastian Conran, Christophe Pillet, Matteo Thun and Ross Lovegrove and design offices like Indeed, NOA, Pentagon Design, Pilots Design to date.
