ZEYNEP BODUR OKYAY REPRESENTED TURKIYE AT FAMILY BUSINESSES CONGRESS

Kale Group President and CEO Zeynep Bodur Okyay spoke as a representative of Turkiye at the 28th Congress of the Spanish Institute of Family Businesses, held in Burgos, Spain, from October 19-21.

Founded in 1992, the Institute of Family Businesses (Instituto de la Empresa Familiar) is an independent, non-profit organization that brings together 1,800 family businesses across various sectors in Spain. Its mission is to defend the interests of family businesses, which generate revenue equivalent to 10 percent of the national GDP, identify best practices in corporate governance, and ensure the education of future generations.

Kale Group President and CEO Zeynep Bodur Okyay represented Turkiye at the 28th annual Family Businesses Institute Congress, where she delivered a speech. She shared the evolving vision of Turkish family businesses, drawing on deep-rooted values, and emphasized the importance of transparent governance, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

The powerful messages shared by King Felipe VI of Spain during his private meeting with the Turkish delegation, who attended the congress, once again demonstrated the depth of the friendship between the two countries. Turkish and Spanish family-owned businesses are forging a strong alliance to build a purpose-driven, value-driven business model. The partnership between the Roca and Kale groups is a prime example of this unity.
