VITRA TILES INTRODUCES NEW CODES AT CERSAIE
VitrA Tiles hosted architects, designers, customers, and industry professionals at the International Ceramic and Bathroom Fair Cersaie 2026. The brand showcased its 2027 collections, designed with a Material Intelligence approach, as well as its innovations, at its stand developed with the same concept.

VitrA Tile's approach, shaped by the motto "Every material has a code. Material Intelligence deciphers it," reinterprets the diversity of materials offered by nature through research, technology, and design. By developing the aesthetic and technical potential of natural materials, it transforms them into unique surfaces for contemporary architecture.
The Code concept, which brings together three different design languages, presented its Resincode, Geocode, and Metacode collections to visitors at the VitrA Tile stand at Cersaie. Resincode combines the porous and mineral texture of natural concrete with subtle transitions and layered surface effects, giving contemporary interiors a simple, balanced, and refined surface language. Geocode, inspired by Spanish limestone, marble, quartzite, and gneiss, brings the different geological characteristics of natural stone to ceramic surfaces with a contemporary interpretation through four different surface typologies: Alba, Imperio, Rio, and Merano. Metacode, with its three different surfaces in gold, iron, and copper tones, brings the subtle tonal transitions and soft reflections of patina-effect metallic texture to ceramic surfaces, combining industrial character with a refined aesthetic.
New Technologies
At Cersaie 2026, VitrA Tiles introduced its new collections as well as the V-Flex and V-Tone innovations. V-Flex offers an innovative, adhesive-free ceramic tile laying solution developed with Välinge’s Ceraloc® mechanical interlocking technology. Thanks to special edge profiles, the system mechanically bonds the tiles together, allowing for up to five times faster installation compared to traditional adhesive applications. It supports more precise alignment, consistent joint lines, and a high-quality surface appearance during installation. V-Flex also allows for the removal and replacement of individual tiles when necessary, offering significant advantages in maintenance and repair processes. Tested according to technical criteria such as acoustic performance and impact resistance, the system provides a fast, flexible, and user-friendly flooring solution for commercial spaces such as offices, hotels, and shops.
V-Tone, focusing on tonal variations in ceramic production, improves color consistency, supporting visual continuity on architectural surfaces. VitrA Tiles continues its work towards the full integration of color-consistency technology into its production processes.
