VitrA focused on the theme of sustainability at its stand, which was prepared in the home concept and hosted Intema's kitchen, at the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair UNICERA 2023, which was held at the Istanbul Expo Center last November. At the fair, a 100% recycled sink was introduced for the first time in the area prepared with the slogan "VitrA works for a better future". VitrA QuantumFlush, which enables the maximum use of water energy, also attracted attention at the stand where the sink was exhibited, which maximizes the contribution to the circular economy and reduces VitrA's universal impact on global warming by 30% per product.
At UNICERA 2023, VitrA underlined its vision of working for a better future with the statement "We are among the best tile manufacturers in Europe in terms of greenhouse gas emissions" by referencing the updated Environmental Product Declaration Certificates (EPD). VitrA also differentiated itself with its new surface technologies at the fair, where tile collections with a carbon footprint reduction of up to 59% and containing up to 30% recovered and recycled materials were exhibited. With the Soft R10B surface option introduced for the first time in this year's innovations, it ensures safety with a high level of non-slip in both bathrooms and commercial areas, while at the same time preserving the soft texture of the surface.
VitrA’s tile collections exhibited at UNICERA 2023 include Cemental, Royalstone, Noblestone, Meteorite, Woodart, Marmo Nuovo and Flakecement; Color2.0, which introduced spaces to the power of color, was appreciated. In the product range that includes 2 cm thick tiles designed for outdoor spaces, 80x80 cm tiles were also introduced for the first time. The Set7.0 tile collection, which offers a wide range of products in the wall tile product group with different color, size and decor options, was also presented for the first time at the fair.
