Vitra got 3 new awards from Good Design one of the oldest and most reputable design contests of the world which has been held since 1950. With this, the number of Good Design awards granted to Vitra to date became 40.
Within Good Design being held with the collaboration of The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, Vitra’s CementMix tile system granted an award in floor and wall covering category. There were 900 applications from 48 countries evaluated in Good Design this year and in its’ bathroom and accessory category, Voyage and Sento Kid bathroom collections was granted the award.
Standing out as Vitra’s richest collection with more than 130 items, Voyage bathroom collection is developed with the collaboration of Arik Levy who’s a versatile artist, technician and designer. Sento Kid and CementMix bear the Vitra Designer Team’s signature. 60 percent of Vitra products are being developed by the designer team within the company and they’re also granted world famous design and innovation awards such as EDIDA, Design Innovation, Design Plus, Iconic Awards, Interior Innovation, iF, Plus X, Red Dot, Wallpaper.
