The UNICERA Istanbul International Ceramics, Bathroom, Kitchen Fair, which was planned to be held in November of this year, has been postponed to 2026. UNICERA, one of the two largest ceramics fairs in Europe, will be held simultaneously with the Ceramtech Ceramic Technologies and Raw Materials Fair for the first time. The fair, which was moved to next year upon the joint decision of the participants, will bring the ceramics sector together on a more comprehensive and powerful platform.

The UNICERA Istanbul and Ceramtech fairs, planned to be held on November 3-7, 2025, have been postponed to 2026. The exact dates of the fairs, which will be held simultaneously, will be announced in the coming days.
A meeting was held before UNICERA Istanbul, which was brought to life by UNICERA International Fairs Inc., in collaboration with the Turkish Ceramics Federation (TSF) and the Plumbing and Construction Materials Association (TIMDER), and with the organization of ED Fairs. Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters' Association and UNICERA Uluslararasi Fuarcilik A.S. Chairman of the Board Erdem Cenesiz, Turkish Ceramics Federation (TSF) Chairman of the Board Ilter Yurtbay, Plumbing and Construction Materials Association (TIMDER) Chairman of the Board Kemal Yildirim, Ceramics and Sanitary Ware Manufacturers' Association (SERSA) Chairman of the Board Hakan Canakci, ED Fuarcılık Founding Partners Dilek Soydan and Emel Yilmaz attended this meeting.
One of the two largest ceramic fairs in Europe
Erdem Cenesiz emphasized that the UNICERA Istanbul fair, which has a deep-rooted history of 36 years, is accepted as one of the largest organizations emphasizing Turkiye's leadership in the sector in the field of ceramic tile materials and ceramic sanitary ware, and said: “While our country is the largest producer country in Europe in the field of ceramic tile materials, also known technically as vitrified, it ranks second in ceramic tile materials. We are also in an extremely strong position in Europe with our ceramic, bathroom and kitchen products fair, which we lead in two sectors where we are so strong in production. We stand out and differentiate ourselves from our competitors in terms of the number of participants, visitor interest and market breadth. The fair, which will be held on an area of 120 thousand square meters, will bring together more than 1200 brands and host 90 thousand visitors. We expect great interest in our fair, which hosted participants from 128 different countries last year, especially from Europe, the Gulf countries and the Turkic Republics this year.”
UNICERA Istanbul and Ceramtech together
UNICERA Istanbul and Ceramtech Ceramic Technologies and Raw Materials Fair will be held together for the first time this year. Ceramtech, which will support the technology and innovation-focused development of the sector, aims to introduce advanced technology materials, production processes and new generation solutions used in the ceramic industry. This shows that UNICERA Istanbul is no longer an organization where only final products are exhibited, but has also become a more comprehensive platform where ceramic technologies and innovative solutions are introduced.
What do those who join Ceramtech expect?
GENITEC A.S.
Genitec A.S., which offers all solutions to its customers regarding the production of vitrified ceramic products, manufactures its equipment by taking into account the main needs of the customer. They have high-tech vitrified production equipment that will enable the production of a wide range of products, including the Classic Casting System and the High Pressure Casting System. Genitec, which attaches importance to sustainability, assigns its team members to all relevant training and assignments in order to achieve this. They believe that assuming social and economic responsibility allows the company to guarantee its future.
They will be exhibiting the GHC 1065 3-Part Adhesive High Pressure Casting System at Ceramtech. You can reach the details about the machine from the link https://www.genitec.com.tr/ghc1065.
Marketing Manager Zeynep Cenesiz expressed Genitec’s expectations from the fair: “Ceramtech is important in introducing our company and the equipment we produce; providing accurate and complete information to all organizations that need support in the vitreous china production business; and encouraging and supporting vitrified production as a business to investors etc. First of all, I hope it will be productive and active for all participants and us. I hope all the meetings will result in carrying out activities regarding the business discussed. I hope everyone reaches important contacts and serious initiatives in this organization.”
REMAS
Founded in 1966, REMAS establishes raw material preparation facilities for the world ceramic industry for tile, sanitary ware and porcelain production. It produces special solutions with modular and charged ball mills, spray dryers, stirrers, bulingers and raw material feeding systems, all of which are its own production, and provides services for the efficiency and capacity increases of existing facilities. It represents our country as a Turkish brand in the world ceramic sector by exporting more than 80 percent of its products. The company also establishes SAG mills, ball and rod mills, as well as grinding facilities for the mining sector, and establishes facilities for industrial raw materials and metal mining in the international market.
They are participating in the Ceramtech fair with their machines for preparing raw materials used in the ceramic industry. They will be present at the fair with their automation systems and efficiency-enhancing solutions that are increasing day by day with the advancement of technology such as modular ball mills, spray dryers, raw material feeding systems.
Speaking on behalf of REMAS, Ozgun Kutay expressed the importance of the Ceramtech fair for them as follows: “UNICERA is an accepted event in the promotion and marketing of ceramics and sanitary ware, especially for the countries around our country and the regions that we can define as target markets. It has become an important event in terms of the producers in the surrounding countries seeing and examining the latest trend designs and productions. Therefore, the fact that it is an organization that includes ceramic producers in the visitor profile overlaps with our target audience to a certain extent.”
Kutay also said the following about their expectations from the fair: “Our country is one of the leading countries in the ceramic sector that is accepted in the world with its products and quality. However, the same success is not valid for the machinery manufacturing and services for the ceramic sector. One of the most important reasons for this is the extra interest of the current sector players in foreign-origin products. Unfortunately, the number of our machinery manufacturers that offer their products to the sector globally is not sufficient. Therefore, we think that it is an opportunity for our companies that manufacture machinery and provide services to the sector to present their products and introduce themselves, especially to visitors from neighboring countries.”
UKCast
Founded in 2004 by Ulug Kerim Yucel and Halis Can Tokman, UKCast began its operations in one of Turkiye’s leading technoparks with the aim of providing products and product development services to organizations in the ceramics and sanitary ware sectors. Today, the company, which provides services in the fields of machine manufacturing and mold design in the Kemalpasa Organized Industrial Zone (KOSBI), produces customer-oriented solutions by meeting the highest standards in the sector and offers uninterrupted service to its customers with after-sales support and service.
UKCast is the first company established in Turkiye to commercially manufacture vitrified pressure casting machines. UKCast, which is specialized in vitrified production with its deep knowledge and technical experience, is one of the strong players in the sector with its advanced engineering solutions and innovative production techniques. The company, which has been continuing its design activities as a Design Center since 2023, aims to offer quality and durable products by combining its years of experience with machinery and automation technologies.
In the Turkish sanitary ware sector, a significant portion of production is carried out with sanitary ware machines manufactured by UKCast. There are 101 pressure casting machines and over 1,000 molds operating in the sector. The company has the ability to establish production lines that will meet all the machinery and equipment needs of the sanitary ware sector, except for the kilns.
UKCast will participate in the fair with its innovative casting system, UKM360, which it developed with the support of TUBITAK 1501 project. This project is a bonded system that casts robotic cell inverted toilets for the first time in Turkiye, and offers a solution that makes production processes more reliable and profitable with high quality, low error rate and modern production techniques. The company will exhibit the innovative solutions provided by this casting system and the patents it has received domestically and internationally within the scope of this project in the fair area.
Giving special importance to Ceramtech 2025, company officials express their expectations from the fair as follows: “To increase the awareness of our brand in the local and international markets and to strengthen our position in the sector by introducing our technological innovations. In addition, we plan to overcome the difficulties encountered in the sector by focusing on sustainable and environmentally friendly production methods. We plan to strengthen our collaborations and develop various projects for environmentally friendly production methods by sharing the opportunities offered by the projects we will exhibit at the fair.”
