TURKISHCERAMICS WORKS FOR THE REPUTATION OF OUR CERAMICS

  • Working to increase awareness of the quality of Turkish ceramics worldwide, TurkishCeramics participated in important fairs such as Ambiente, KBB and Coverings in the first half of 2026, leaving a strong impression on industry professionals and visitors.


Established in 1997 under the auspices of the Undersecretariat of the Ministry of Economy, with the support of the Central Anatolian Exporters Union and the Turkish Ceramics Federation, TurkishCeramics' primary goal is to increase global awareness of the quality of Turkish ceramics. The group undertakes numerous activities to reach a global audience, ranging from participating in trade fairs to organizing design competitions, exhibitions, and trade delegations. In the first half of 2026, it participated in significant trade fairs in its field, such as Ambiente (Germany), KBB (United Kingdom), and Coverings (USA).


Strong participation at Ambiente


Representing Türkiye’s global strength in the ceramics sector, Turkish Ceramics participated in the prestigious Ambiente fair held in Frankfurt, Germany, on February 6–10. Ranked among the world’s largest consumer goods trade fairsAmbiente 2026 welcomed a strong national participation from Türkiye with 223 Turkish companies. 15 member companies specialized in ceramics and porcelain demonstrated the Turkish ceramics industry’s design capability, production excellence, and export potential on an international platform. The commercial connections established during the fair further strengthened the sector’s global positioning.



The event, which serves as a key barometer of the industry, also featured intensive official engagements. The delegation, including Frankfurt Consul General Nagihan İlknur Akdevelioğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board Tansu Kumru, Deputy Director General for Imports Okan Öztürk, and Head of Department Murat Albayrak from the Ministry of Trade, visited member company stands and conducted on-site examinations. During these visits, discussions focused on the latest industry trends, innovative production techniques, and new business development strategies in global markets.


Within the scope of the fair, the installation titled Glass and Ceramics: The Journey of Radiant Craft,” brought to life through the distinguished ceramic collections of our Turkish Ceramics and TurkishGlass members companies, attracted significant attention. In addition, strategically positioned advertisements across high-traffic areas of the venue and targeted digital campaigns enhanced the global visibility and commercial engagement of the Turkish ceramics sector.


Developments in the US market are being monitored


KBIS, North America’s largest Kitchen and Bath trade show is one of the most significant global meeting points for the industry. At KBIS 2026, held from February 17-19, TurkishCeramics' dedicated stand served as both a presentation space for participating companies and a meeting point for members attending the fair individually. Chairman Erdem Çenesiz, together with the TurkishCeramics delegation, visited the stands of member companies participating in the fair.



In addition, significant meetings were held at our stand with industry representatives. Ömer İnce, Miami Commercial Attache, also visited our stand and met with company representatives. Comprehensive discussions were held regarding developments in the U.S. market and potential areas of cooperation.


A meeting was held with representatives of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) to discuss the buyer delegation organization planned for November. During the meeting, potential steps to further strengthen the position of the Turkish ceramic industry in the U.S. market were evaluated.


TurkishCeramics made a strong impression in the UK



TurkishCeramics' next stop was the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Trade Fair KBB 2026, held in Birmingham, UK, from March 1-4. The group made a strong impression on industry professionals and visitors. Chairman of the Board Erdem Çenesiz visited the stands of Turkish companies participating in the fair.


Turkish ceramics were showcased at the global fair


Held in Las Vegas from March 30 to April 2, Coverings 2026, one of the most significant international gatherings for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry, brought together industry professionals on a global scale. TurkishCeramics' dedicated stand served as a productive platform for showcasing innovative products and fostering international collaborations. These promotional activities significantly enhanced our brand’s international visibility.



As part of the marketing efforts, a visual campaign for the Turkish Ceramics brand was showcased on digital wall posters at the main entrance of the exhibition center. This high-traffic area greatly contributed to increasing brand awareness. 


Commercial Attaché in Los Angeles, Ali Dolu, visited our stand to conduct comprehensive evaluations regarding developments in the U.S. market and potential areas of cooperation.


A total of 11 member companies participated in the fair. Their booths were visited under the coordination of our association, and meetings were held with each participant. During these engagements, sectoral developments and export opportunities, particularly in the U.S. market,were throughly assessed.
