Turkish Ceramics Federation also participated in the Istanbul Industry Platform (ISP) founded by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality for Istanbul to reach healthy urban norms that involves a strong economy and is sensitive to human and environment.
Platform works is started intended to bring all regarding stakeholders of different sector together and provide coordination. Primarily negotiated works are about the subjects of employment, transportation, logistics, waste, energy, Sile mining fields, carbon footprint and water footprint.
Especially as ceramic coating materials industry, the sectoral strategic importance of Sile clay basin is emphasized as the most important raw material source, and the report prepared on the clay basin is submitted. Negotiations are made on the Unicera Fair and the fairgrounds organized in Istanbul. TSF also attended the 3rd Water Efficiency Workshop organized by ISKI to exchange ideas with manufacturing companies and local administrations for the efficient use of water.
