In a small workshop held at Zehra Cobanlı Art Center opened by Prof. Zehra Cobanlı in Eskişehir, Prof. Gungor Guner gave training on transfer printing technique to the participants. Afterwards, delicious meals and friendships were shared at the table.
One of the most productive and active ceramic artists, Prof. Zehra Cobanlı worked as a lecturer and dean at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts for many years. After her retirement, she did not break her ties with teaching; she still gives ceramic lessons in her own workshop in Eskisehir. In addition, organizes various events with the Ceramic Art, Education and Exchange Association (SSEDD), of which she is the founder and chairman.
In a small workshop held in Cobanlı's workshop in Eskisehir, Prof. Gungor Guner gave training on transfer printing technique to the participants. Gungor Guner, who has trained many students for many years and is Zehra Çobanlı's teacher, explained this technique, which enables the transfer of photography to ceramic surfaces, to Zehra Cobanlı Art Center’s students and guests. Guner gave hands-on information about the whole process, from editing the photographic image on the computer to transferring it to the ceramic surface. Guests, including German ceramic artist Reinhard Keitel and Korean artist Kim Yong Moon, watched the technique with interest. Then Keitel took the pottery wheel and showed the students how to turn it.
This time delicious meals and friendships were shared at the table set after the workshop. GYNAIKA Ceramic Group, which could not work in the workshop during the closure period of the pandemic, has also prepared a book titled "Tasty Recipes Full of Art" consisting of these delicious dishes.
