THEY RECEIVED TRAINING FOR GREEN-COLLAR RESOURCES

• The Turkish Ceramics Federation completed the first sector-based Corporate Sustainability Reporting Expertise Training in Türkiye. Nineteen experts from various companies received training to create green-collar resources for sustainability reporting for firms operating in the sector.

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Expertise Training, presented by experienced specialists from TOBB MEYBEM, accredited by the Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, was intensive yet highly productive and educational.

The 9-day, 62-hour training covered the following topics: Emission Control and Management by Çağlar Güven; Corporate Governance Concepts and Principles by Dr. Cahit Sönmez, a faculty member at TOBB University; Basic Finance and Financial Reporting by Dr. Yenal Can Yiğit, also a faculty member at TOBB University; Measurement and Reporting of Sustainability Performance by Çiğdem Palalı; and Turkish Sustainable Reporting Standards by Senem Tancu.

To create a green-collar workforce and strengthen existing corporate capacity for sustainability reporting in the ceramics sector, 19 experts from different companies received training.
