THESE TEAPOTS MUST BE CRAZY

• Akeramos Art Center in Bursa will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a teapot exhibition titled "These Teapots Must Be Crazy". The first stage of the exhibition will be held in Bilecik from June 2 to July 15, 2026, and the second stage will be held in Rize.

Akeramos Art Center, founded by ceramic artist Aysun Çölbayır, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a fantastic teapot exhibition. Titled "These Teapots Must Be Crazy," the exhibition invites all artists who have worked on the teapot form, and anyone passionate about the subject, to participate. Organized in collaboration with Seramiksir company, the exhibition aims to bring together ceramic artists and art-loving students within Akeramos.

The exhibition, which will be held in two stages, will take place at Seramiksir's factory in Bilecik between June 2nd and July 15th, and the second stage will be shown in Çayeli, Rize, between September 24th and 30th. After the artworks are delivered to Akeramos, their transportation to the exhibition venues will also be handled by the art center.

The participation conditions are as follows: Participants may submit one teapot-shaped piece made using ceramic techniques. The works must be delivered to the Akeramos Art Center no later than May 10, 2026. The pieces should be shipped in wooden crates to prevent breakage. The form, material, and durability of the crates must be suitable for use as a platform at the exhibition in the Black Sea region.
