The 3rd International MUSEs Art Symposium, hosted by the Kyrenia Municipality and organized with the support of Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD), brought the joy of art to Kyrenia from September 13–28.

The 3rd International MUSEs Art Symposium, held as part of GirneFEST'25 in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, was met with high participation. The event allowed children and adults to experience the existence of art in the "now," in the same space, without boundaries or rules. The support of the organizing and executive committee, coordination team, and local government was decisive in the event's strong interest. Ceramic artist Pinar Baklan also played an active role in the symposium, which was coordinated by Nevin Halis.
The artists' work in Kyrenia was crowned with two significant exhibitions. At the beginning of the symposium, an opening exhibition featuring the works brought by the artists opened its doors to art lovers at a ceremony attended by Kyrenia Mayor Murat Senkul and Kyrenia Municipality Culture Director Serdar Tuksal. At the event's conclusion, new works produced by the artists in Kyrenia during the symposium were exhibited at a ceremony also attended by dignitaries and the art community.

Live production and direct contact with art
The event's primary goal was to introduce contemporary productions, embracing the interdisciplinary perspectives of modernism and freely blending materials and techniques, to the people of Kyrenia. Visitors had the opportunity to observe the artists' creative processes throughout the symposium and, through direct contact with the works, to meet international artists.
Throughout the symposium, hands-on activities attracted significant interest. The "Paper Kiln Workshop," held by participating artist Mutlu Baskaya at Karaoglanoglu Antis Beach, offered participants the opportunity to experience one of the intriguing techniques of ceramic art in action. A lecture by Tansel Turkdogan during the symposium provided a theoretical basis for contemporary art discussions.
