Sento Kids, the special bathroom collection designed by VitrA for children, brings the cleaning and bathing rituals of the little ones into a play atmosphere. Ergonomics, hygiene and safety items stand out in this collection.
Sento Kids collection was developed by considering the gender, height, weight and knee heights of the 3-4 and 5-6 age group, with the tests carried out in the Ergonomics Laboratory in VitrA Innovation Center. First of all, the behaviors of children about toilet and their bathroom needs were examined and the opinions of the experts were collected. After determining the ergonomic features that make a bathroom suitable for children, the Sento Kids collection was created by using the colors and designs they would prefer.
Bringing together elements that emphasize ergonomics, hygiene and safety, Sento Kids meets the needs of institutions that provide pre-school education. Single, double and triple use feature in various sizes enables children to encourage each other to wash their hands, support each other and explore the process in the atmosphere of play. In addition, the collection, which aims to minimize the accidents that may occur in the bathroom, does not allow injuries with its rounded designs and flexible materials.
SENTO AND THE CHILDREN’S NEEDS IN THE BATHROOM
Ergonomic: In order for children's feet to touch the ground, the height of the toilet from the ground is designed as 28 cm for 3-4 year olds and 35 cm for 5-6 year olds
Safe: Since children hold on the sides of the toilet while sitting and getting up, grip areas have been added to the toilet seat. The toilet seat, which closes slowly by itself, is both silent and prevents children's hands from being caught. Soft silicone guards placed on the edges of the accessories provide extra security.
Hygienic: The ductless toilet bowls of the collection do not have channels or holes where harmful bacteria and organisms can be stored. VitrA Hygiene special glaze technology is used in all ceramic products, which prevents bacteria formation at a rate of 99.9%.
Healty: The products in the collection, with their simplicity in their designs, rounded lines and hidden assembly details, leave no place to hide from dirt and facilitate cleaning.
Accessible: The control panel compatible with the concealed cistern has been installed at a height of 75-85 cm, making it easily accessible by 3-year-olds. On the other hand, the stepped structure of the triple washbasin allows children of different sizes to reach the sink easily.
Comfortable: The specially designed control lever of the battery enables children to open and close the battery easily, while minimizing the risk of pinching their fingers.
