SERES 5th International Ceramics, Glass, Enamel, Glaze and Pigment Congress which couldn’t be held last year because of the pandemic, will be held in Eskisehir Technical University 2 Eylul Campus between 13th-15th October.
SERES’21 5th International Ceramics, Glass, Enamel, Glaze and Pigment Congress will be held in Eskisehir Technical University 2 Eylul Campus between 13th-15th October. Chairman of Turkish Ceramics Society Board of Directors and Congress Organization Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara indicated that the congress which’s delayed before will be held this year and they’ve started carrying out works for it. Kara spoke as follows “With the tough pandemic times taking hold of the whole world and causing our life habits to change, we had to delay our congress which would be held in 2020 to 2021. This period of time has reminded us the importance of science and technology once again and showed that reproducing through sharing information is of vital importance at a particular level.”
Prof. Kara called those concerned in science, art and industry field of ceramics to participate the congress: “Under the main subject titles related to out congress, we aim to bring together the academicians, artists, designers and industry representatives working inland and abroad, share their fund of knowledge and experiences and this way raise collaboration opportunities. We invite them to SERES’21 to get to better know Eskisehir, a city of art, culture and university and our university and share their knowledges and experiences with us.”
The subjects of the congress are designated as follows: Industrial Ceramics, Cement, Concrete and Geopolymers, Advanced Technology Ceramics, Boron Based Ceramics, Ceramic and Energy-Saving, Production and Storing, Thin Ceramic Films and Coatings, Glass and Glass Ceramics, Ceramic Powders: Advancements on Synthesis, Electroceramics, Refractories, High Temperature Treatments and Sintering, Art and Ceramics. For those who will present communique at the congress the deadline for abstracts is announced as 15th August 2021, and the deadline for full text is announced as 1st October 2021.
