Ceramic Research Center (SAM), which bought a new device for the in the past months, has recently expanded its test infrastructure with the new strenght device. The center has included the Gabrielli Flexi 5000 LX-1250 Strength Tester within the Standard Test Laboratory for determination of bending and fracture strength of large and thick tiles. The device is capable of testing samples from 100x100 to 1250x1250 mm and with a maximum load capacity of 5000 kg, offers the opportunity to test the thickness of the tiles > 12 mm.
