ROBOTIC CODING CLASS IN MEMORY OF KAZIM DEMIR

Esan Eczacibasi equipped the Robotic Coding class of Cine Ataturk Primary School to honor of one of its directors, Kazim Demir, who passed away last year, and put it into service for children interested in science.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ceramic Glass and Cement Raw Materials Producers Association (SERHAM), Esan Eczacibasi Industrial Raw Materials Operations Director Kazim Demir passed away on March 6, 2024. Esan Eczacibasi equipped the Robotics Coding class at Cine Ataturk Primary School in Aydin, Kazim Demir's hometown, and dedicated it in his name.

The death of Kazim Demir, who lost his life due to a brain embolism, caused great sadness. Demir graduated from the Mining and Mineral Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University. After starting his professional life, he took on important positions in leading companies of the sector such as Eti Borates Work, Cayeli Copper Mines, Ciner Group, Sibelco, Esan Eczacibasi. Following his position as General Manager of Sibelco Turkey, he served as Industrial Minerals Operations Director at Esan Eczacibasi as of 2021. In addition, he played an active role in the sector as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ceramic Glass and Cement Raw Materials Producers Association (SERHAM).
