REUSES FRAGMENTS CONTRIBUTE TO SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Porland, focusing on sustainable production, reuses porcelain fragments generated during its production processes. As a result of an assessment conducted by Intertek under the ISO 14021:2026 standard, it has been certified that 99% of the products in the Re-Gen collection consist of pre-production recycled materials.
Porland's Re-Gen collection, developed to repurpose porcelain scraps generated during production, is among the best examples of a sustainable production approach. The collection contributes to keeping resources within the cycle by reusing waste generated during porcelain production. Following an assessment conducted by Intertek under the ISO 14021:2026 standard, it was certified that 99% of the products in the Re-Gen collection consist of pre-production recycled materials. With this certification, Porland independently verified its circular economy approach in porcelain production, supporting it with concrete and measurable data.
Sustainability Meets Design

Stating that the concept of sustainable production has been an important part of Porland's R&D and design efforts since the emergence of Re-Gen, Porland Board Member Imge Pamukçu said, “Our main motivation when bringing the Re-Gen collection to life was to re-evaluate the porcelain fragments that occur in the production process instead of seeing them as waste and to give them a new use. The Re-Gen collection, where we combine this approach with design, brings sustainability to the table by combining recycled content with different sources of inspiration with designs such as Salda, Ontario, Sirius, Sirius Beige, Birdsong and One and Only. These designs, each nourished by a different story, bring together Re-Gen's understanding of sustainability with aesthetics and functionality.”
