PORCELAIN TABLEWARE PRODUCERS FOUNDED THE ASSOCIATION

Porcelain Tableware Producers Association (PORSES), which brings together Turkiye's leading companies in the porcelain tableware production sector, was established. The association, which will increase solidarity and cooperation against global competition in the sector, will accelerate studies that will contribute to the development of the sector.


The leading names of the industry operating in the field of ceramic tableware and ornamental production came together under the roof of the Porcelain Tableware Producers Association (PORSES). Yuksel Kaya from Kutahya Porselen assumed the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the Association. PORSES aims to be an important platform that will direct the sector with 7 member companies and contribute to the development of Turkiye's porcelain industry.



The main purpose of PORSES, which has a strong representation power in the sector, is to provide solutions to the common economic and technical problems of the organizations that produce porcelain tableware in Turkiye and are registered with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and to carry out research and development and technology production efforts in order to increase production quality and efficiency. to support. The association will also have missions such as ensuring fast and accurate information exchange among members and promoting the sector.


It will contribute to technological and economic developments


Focusing to increase the effectiveness of the Turkish ceramic industry at home and abroad, PORSES aims to establish and support consortiums by encouraging projects that will contribute to the scientific, technological, cultural, economic and commercial development of the sector. At the same time, it aims to create an efficient commercial structure in the sector that respects professional ethics and public interest. The association, which held its interim Board of Directors meeting on September 5, plans to hold its first General Assembly meeting on December 14, 2024. The Board of Directors, chaired by Yuksel Kaya from Kutahya Porselen, includes important names such as Mehmet Naci Pekcan from Gural Porselen, Erbil Askan from Bonna Porselen, Levent Bozkurt from PORSER, Emin Yuce from Keramika, Cengiz Uzun from Ege Porselen, Ali Kilinc from Tulu Porselen and Mehmet Mercan from the Turkish Ceramics Federation.
