NEW ASSIGNMENTS IN ECZACIBASI GROUP

High-level assignments have been made in Eczacibasi Group, effective as of November 1, 2024. Hasan Pehlivan became the CEO of Eczacibasi Building Products, while Mert Karasu was appointed as the CEO of VitrA Karo.

Hasan Pehlivan, who most recently served as CEO of VitrA Karo, was appointed as CEO of Eczacibasi Yapi Gerecleri, which has 14 production facilities in 4 countries and over 5 thousand employees. The CEO of VitrA Karo, which is the export champion in ceramic tile exports from Turkey to EU countries, was Mert Karasu, who served as Commercial Director in the same organization.

Hasan Pehlivan, the new CEO of Eczacibasi Yapi Gereçleri, which operates in 105 international markets with the brands VitrA, Artema, burgbad and İntema, joined the Eczacibasi Family in 2015. Mert Karasu, the new CEO of Vitra Karo, whose production facility in Bozuyuk was referred to as the “production facility of the future” by the World Economic Forum, started his career at Eczacibasi in 1998.
