NERMIN DEMIRKOL RECEIVES INNOVATIVE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

  • Associate Professor Nermin Demirkol, a faculty member of the Ceramics Department at Kocaeli University's Faculty of Fine Arts, was honored with the "Innovative Outstanding Achievement Award" at the 18th European Creativity and Innovation Fair, held in Iași, Romania, between May 28-30.


1The 12th International Innovative Research Conference, held as part of the 18th European Creativity and Innovation Fair, took place in Iași, Romania. The conference was chaired by Prof. Petrica Vizureanu from the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University in Iași, and coordinated by Prof. Andrei Victor Sandu.



Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Demirkol participated as an invited speaker, sharing her scientific work entitled “Circular Raw Material Potential of Izmit Bay Bottom Mud: Ceramic, Glass and Enamel Applications” and explaining the potential of Izmit Bay bottom mud to be utilized in various industrial fields. Demirkol, whose scientific presentation and work attracted attention, was honored with the “Innovative Excellence Award” by the organizers.
