MEHMET MERCAN ATTENDED THE FECS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

• Mehmet Mercan, Secretary General of the Turkish Ceramics Federation, represented Türkiye at the General Assembly of the European Federation of Ceramic Sanitary Ware Manufacturers (FECS) held in December 2025.

Established in 1954 and headquartered in Geneva, FECS champions the interests of the European ceramic sanitary ware industry, promoting the benefits of sanitary ceramics, including hygiene, durability, and sustainability.

Representing seven national trade associations and nine companies from 15 countries (the European Union, Türkiye, and Switzerland), FECS directly employs approximately 22,000 people and has an annual turnover of €4.5 billion. Advocating for resource efficiency and circular economy principles, FECS also actively supports the Unified Water Label to improve water efficiency in bathroom products.
