LIKE WE SAW IT BEFORE; DEJA VU IN BODRUM

Group Deja Vu’s Glass and Ceramics Exhibition has met with art lovers in the Art Gallery of Bodrum Chamber of Commerce between 28th February – 20th March.


The works of Elif Aydoğdu Agatekin, Mustafa Agatekin, Kaan Canduran, Tugrul Emre Feyzoglu, Candan Gungor, Vedat Kacar, Burcu Ozturk Karabey, Mursit Cemal Ozcan, Soner Pilge and Kadir Sevim, have taken place in the exhibition. In their previous exhibition the group members has decided to invite a ceramics student to each exhibition to support them to introduce themselves and give a chance to present their works. So accordingly, a young artist who’s continuing her graduate education Özge Tan’s works have also taken part in the exhibition. The exhibition was consisting of unique pieces of artists, each applying different shaping and firing techniques and embodying different thoughts.

The Group Deja Vu is founded by a group of academist-artist who are continusly in touch with each other thanks to their friendships resulting from acquaintances of many years almost since they were students. Consisting of eleven artists who are academsits in Anadolu University, Hacettepe University, Mugla Sıtkı Kocman University, Dokuz Eylul University, Bilecik Seyh Edebali University, Group Deja Vu’s first exhibition has been held in Ankara Gallery Nurol, second in Bodrum Dibeklihan Culture and Art Village Yıldız Kenter Art Gallery and third in Peri Art Gallery in Alacatı. In the upcoming days, the Group will continue to bring together their works with art lovers in other cities too.
