Suleyman Demirel University’s School of Fine Arts Head of Ceramic and Glass Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serap Unal’s book titled “Lakes Region in Anatolian Terra-Cotta Culture” is published by Archeology and Art Publications.
The book under the editorship of Nezih Basgelen, contains the several eras of terra-cotta culture in Anatolia down the ages, the beginning of the potter’s wheel, the situation of Anatolian pottery today and the past and current examples of the production in Lakes Region.
The book is also a kind of resource book including information on used sludges, clay beds, form diversity, tools used, lining, decoration and firing methods.
