The Turkish Ceramics Federation is closely following the "Green Transformation in Industry" initiatives, which will be organized in parallel with the environmental performance of industrial facilities. As part of this, a meeting was recently held with Irde Çetintürk Gürtepe, Head of the Air Management Department, and Elifcan Apaydın, Branch Manager, at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

With the "Regulation on the Management of Industrial Emissions" published on January 14, 2025, "Green Transformation in Industry (GTI) Certificates" will be issued to industrial facilities based on their environmental performance. The Turkish Ceramics Federation closely followed the efforts to incorporate the "Industrial Emissions Directive" into our national legislation, held meetings at various stages, provided opinions, and evaluated it in detail in sub-working committees.
Within this context, the Head of the Air Management Department, Irde Çetintürk Gürtepe, and Branch Manager, Elifcan Apaydın, from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, visited representatives from the ceramics sector. Information was provided on compliance with Best Available Techniques (BAT), details of Emission Levels Associated with Best Available Techniques (BAT-ES), and information was received regarding the process following the publication of the updated Ceramics BREF document in the EU.
