The Aegean Mediterranean Art Gathering Exhibition, hosted by Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramic and Glass Design Department, is held at the Mahal Bomonti Art Gallery.
Head of the Department of Ceramic and Glass Design Halil Yoleri stated that this exhibition was held according to the decisions taken at the meeting in 2017 when the previous Head of Department Prof. Sevim Çeker and former President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ceramists Association Nergül Gezer met. At the meeting in 2017, it was decided to conduct a collective research on the traces of the ceramic culture, which has enduredfor thousands of years in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. These works have been used as input in the projects prepared by the current association president Semral Öztan and her team.
The exhibition included the works of A. Temel Köseler, Bedia Kale, Candan Güngör, Efe Türkel, Eser Keçeci, Fadliye Yılmaz, Fatma Çiftçi, Füsun Çövenoğlu, Güler Oğuz, Halil Yoleri, Haniah Mouhebati, Hasan Saydam, Hayal Dimililer, Mehmet Aydın, Mümine Özdemirağ Yağlı, Nergül Gezer Dündar, Özge Refik Kutsay, Özlem Kul Durmaz, Pınar Çalışkan Güneş, Semral Öztan, Sinem Saydam, Ülviye Perçinci Oksu, Vedia Okutan Gaydeler.
