GÜLDEN GÜRAL ELECTED CHAIRPERSON OF KÜTAHYA CERAMIC OSB

• The first Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Kütahya Ceramic Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), which operates with the aim of increasing ceramic and porcelain production and supporting exports, was held on April 29^th. Gülden Güral, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kütahya Porselen, was elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kütahya Ceramic OSB.

The first ordinary general assembly meeting of the Kütahya Ceramic Organized Industrial Zone was held in line with the goals of ensuring more planned development of the sector, increasing industrial production, and strengthening export capacity.

As a result of the elections held at the General Assembly, Gülden Güral was elected as the Chairperson of the Kütahya Seramik OSB Board of Directors, Yüksel Kaya, Vice Chairman and General Manager of NG Kütahya Seramik, was elected as the Vice Chairman; and Elvan Baltacı, Deputy Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs of Kütahya Porselen, Andaç Maviler, Deputy General Manager of Technical Affairs of Kütahya Porselen, and Ali Artun, Finance Manager of NG Kütahya Seramik, were elected as members of the Board of Directors.

Sustainable growth targeted in the sector

The restructuring implemented by Kütahya Ceramic Organized Industrial Zone aims to make significant contributions to strengthening the industrial infrastructure in the region, increasing production capacity in the ceramic and porcelain sector, and supporting export-oriented sustainable growth. With the newly formed management structure, Kütahya Ceramic Organized Industrial Zone is expected to lead investments that will increase the competitiveness of the sector and further strengthen its strategic position in the production area.

Gülden Güral, from a family of ceramic producers

Gülden Güral, daughter of Nafi Güral, is a graduate of Bilkent University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. She completed her master's degree in Marketing at Boston University and her MBA program at Bahçeşehir University, Institute of Social Sciences. Gülden Güral began her professional career in 2004. Since 2014, she has served as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kütahya Porselen. In addition to her business life, Güral is also active in civil society and is known for her projects on social equality, women's entrepreneurship, and employment. She also serves as a board member of the Nafi Güral Education Foundation.
