VitrA won two awards in the "Excellent Product Design" category at the 2025 German Design Award, which honored projects selected from thousands of applications from over 45 countries.

Reflecting VitrA's innovation-focused design approach, the Novatone and Cementart tile collections won two separate awards in the "Excellent Product Design" category at the German Design Award, one of the prestigious platforms of the design world.

VitrA had previously received four awards at the German Design Award, which has been held by the German Design Council since 1953. The retromix and mode tile systems received the "Excellent Product Design" award, while the Ash&Burn and Metamarmo series were recognized in the "Structure and Elements" category.

The modern imprint of concrete on surfaces

The porcelain tiles in the Novatone collection, which won the acclaim of an international jury, blend the aesthetics of natural stone with modern concrete. Part of the "Terra Melange" concept, which references the raw beauty of nature, Novatone brings natural textures to spaces. Available in sand, cotto, beige, and greige in 120x280 and 60x120 cm sizes, the red and cream travertine surfaces enrich the design, reflecting both timeless elegance and modern style.

Cementart, another collection that won the German Design Award, brings the simplicity of concrete to surfaces. The 40x120cm wall tiles, which are compatible with the 45x45, 60x120, 60x60, and 80x80cm porcelain tiles in a color palette of white, silver gray, dark gray, and cream, come in warm and cool tone options. Bringing a modern touch to living spaces, the collection offers a wide range of surface options, including three-dimensional geometric patterns, the trendy rigato pattern in space design, and other decorative alternatives.
