EUROPEAN CERAMIC TILE MANUFACTURERS MET IN POLAND

The 2025 European Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Federation (CET) Congress was held in Wroclaw, Poland. TSF Secretary General Mehmet Mercan attended the Congress on behalf of the Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association (SERKAP).

The European Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Federation (CET) was founded in Brussels in 1959 to study jointly the problems that the application of EC/EU rules poses to the producers, further solutions to these problems, represent the interest of this industrial sector to European Community/ European Union institutions.

The 2025 Congress of this long-established Federation was held in June in Wroclaw, Poland, hosted by Polska Unia Ceramiczna. The Congress was attended by Turkish Ceramics Federation (TSF) Secretary General Mehmet Mercan, representing the Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association (SERKAP). The meeting, where an informative exchange of ideas was held for the European ceramic wall and floor tile sector, was opened by CET Vice Presidents Roman Blažíček and Raul Carnicer. Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the European Policy Ceramics Forum Elisabetta Gualmini also attended the meeting via video message, and in her speech, she emphasized the importance of the ceramics sector for strategic value chains and local jobs across the EU.
