DPU BECOMES A SPECIALIZED UNIVERSITY IN THE FIELD OF TILE AND CERAMICS

• Kütahya Dumlupınar University has been declared a Specialized University in the field of Tile and Ceramics by the Higher Education Council. With this title, the university has become the central hub of strategic projects that will lead the development of the region in the field of tiles and ceramics, which is the most important symbol of Kütahya's cultural identity.

Kütahya Dumlupınar University, which carries Kütahya's rich cultural heritage and artistic legacy into the future through academic and technological projects, has qualified to participate in the Regional Development-Oriented Specialization Program in the field of Tile and Ceramics, in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board. With this designation, the university has become the epicenter of strategic projects that will lead the development of the region in the field of tiles and ceramics, which is the most important symbol of Kütahya's cultural identity.

Following this strategic achievement by the university, Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak stated, “This proud development has been achieved thanks to strong collaborations with regional stakeholders and our university's production-oriented vision. Within the scope of the specialization program, our efforts to increase the added value of the tile and ceramics sector, develop innovative designs, and train qualified human resources will continue in a more comprehensive manner.”
