DEIK PRESENTS WOMEN'S VISION AWARD TO ZEYNEP BODUR OKYAY

• The DEIK Business Councils' 2025 Electoral Ordinary General Assembly was held. The 7th Commercial Diplomacy Awards were also presented at the meeting. The DEIK Türkiye-Africa Business Councils Women's Vision Award was given to Zeynep Bodur Okyay, Chair and CEO of Kale Group.

The 2025 Electoral Ordinary General Assembly of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Business Councils was held in Istanbul on January 17th. The General Assembly emphasized the strategic importance of commercial diplomacy for the business community and its role in strengthening economic relations between countries. Following the speeches, in the elections held, Zeynep Bodur Okyay, Chair and CEO of Kale Group, was re-elected as the Chair of the DEIK Türkiye-Morocco Business Council for a second term, while Osman Okyay, Vice President of Kale Group, was elected as the Chair of the DEIK Türkiye-Brazil Business Council.

The 7th Commercial Diplomacy Awards were also presented at the meeting. The DEIK/ Türkiye-Africa Business Councils Women's Vision Award was presented to Zeynep Bodur Okyay by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, and DEIK President Nail Olpak.
