Standing out in the construction sector with its’ pioneering identity and wide range of products, Bien made the opening of its’ additional facilities in Bilecik 2nd Organized Industrial Zone. With these additional facilities going into operation, the total yearly ceramic production capacity has reached to 51 million meter squares.
One of the key players of the construction sector in Turkey and around the world, Bien continues its’ investments without slowing down. Bien has organized the opening of its’ additional facilities in Bilecik 2nd Organized Industry Zone with a ceremony. Along with the Wall Ceramics Factory in the ceremony, the Fixture Factory, Complementary Products Factory and Chemicall Frit Factory have also opened.
Bien Deputy Chairman of the Board Ali Ercan spoke in the ceremony and said: “We love our country, and do these investments with this love for our country. When we first bought the factories Bilecik has a capacity of 4 million meter squares and Bozuyuk has 1,5 million meter squares. All our technical staff and personnel is very excited today for our new facilities. We use our fund of knowledge in this sector to found the biggest facility in the world. We have always continued our investments without slowing down. But while doing so we focus on how can we do it better and more distinguishable and integrate new technologies. Alongside this new facility of ours, we also plan to open our facility in Aydin Cine for the next year which we began the infrastructure of 3 years ago and invest on last year.”
In these additional facilities utilizing the cutting edge technology, floor and wall ceramics, floor and wall tiles, granite, fixture and shower systems, built-in reservoir and toilet lids will be manufactured. With the additional facility investment and wall tile production capacity of 5.5 million meter squares in Bilecik 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, a total yearly ceramic production capacity of 51 million meter squares has been reached. In addition, it’s planned to manufacture 270 thousand pieces of fixtures, 500 thousand pieces of built-in reservoirs and 500 thousand pieces of toiler lids in a year.
