Organized by Anadolu University Integrated Collage for Disabled, the "6th International Ceramic Firing Workshop - Anagama" event is made in Antalya - Kumluca - Olympus between 04th-10th October.
In the workshops organized by national and international guest artists together with students of Integrated Collage for Disabled and of ceramic departments of other universities, knowledges and experiences are shared regarding the ceramic art.
Luster, raku and wood firing methods are practiced with nearly 25 national and international guest and attendee artists. Wood firing is made in an anagama kiln called "Hyo Ten". Luster workshops and presentations are made by Prof. Emel Solenay and Prof. Emre Feyzoglu. A temperature of nearly 1300 0C is reached in the anagama firing which took 52 hours.
Workshop's success is ever growing each year with supports from Seramiksir.com, Refsan and Cinikop.
