Organized by Turkishceramics, the 10th Ceramic Industry Meeting was held in Istanbul on October 20 with the intense participation of industry representatives. In the presentations made at the meeting, Turkey and World export data were shared, sector expectations and forecasts were mentioned.
The meeting started with the opening speech of CCSIB Chairman of the Board of Directors Erdem Cenesiz, continued with a presentation by CCSIB Manager Erinc Tarhan on Turkey and World export data, a presentation by Turkey Ceramics Federation General Secretary Mehmet Mercan on the Ceramics Industry in the EU and Turkey, and information about the activities by Public Communications Coordinator Ozkan Aydin. On the other hand, CCSIB Economic Advisor Dr. Can Fuat Gurlesel made evaluations about the global economy and touched upon the expectations and forecasts of the sector.
At the Sector Meeting, two simultaneous sessions were held, namely Ceramic Tile Materials and Ceramic Sanitary Ware. In these sessions, the future of the Turkish Ceramics Industry, the problems it faced and possible solution methods were discussed.
