The 6th International Ceramics, Glass, Enamel, Glaze and Paint Congress (SERES’26), organized by the Turkish Ceramics Association in cooperation with Eskişehir Technical University, will be held in Eskişehir, one of the most beautiful cities of Anatolia, between October 14-17, 2026.
Eskişehir, which ranks among the top livable cities and has recently increased in popularity, will host the 6th International Ceramics, Glass, Enamel, Glaze and Pigment Congress (SERES’26) organized by the Turkish Ceramics Society. The congress, to be held at Eskişehir Technical University between October 14-17, 2026, will bring together academics, artists, scientists, and industry professionals in the field of ceramics.
Eskişehir Technical University, which is organizing SERES’26 together with TSD, stands out with its strong academic background in engineering, materials science, and research infrastructure. Thanks to this collaboration, the congress goes beyond being just an academic meeting and becomes a powerful platform that brings together scientific production, industry interaction, and international knowledge sharing.
The main theme of SERES’26 is “A New Perspective on the Circular Economy: Industrially Treated Raw Materials”. This theme highlights topics such as the re-evaluation of industrially treated raw materials, the more efficient use of resources, the transformation of waste into value-added materials, and the development of sustainable production models. The congress will address how traditional ceramic knowledge can be reinterpreted through modern technology and sustainability approaches; and explore approaches that reduce environmental impacts, increase economic value, and offer solutions applicable to industry.
Congress Chair Prof. Dr. Servet Turan stated, “We invite all our colleagues and sponsoring companies and their employees to support and participate in the SERES’26 congress, which we will organize in Eskişehir, to make presentations and develop collaborations. Not only academic studies but also sustainable production, resource efficiency, innovative materials, and industrial applications will be discussed. Thus, we aim to create a strong and productive interaction environment between academia and industry.”
The paper submission process for SERES'26 has started; the deadline for abstract submissions is June 30, 2026. Detailed information and updates about the congress can be found at www.seres26.org.
